I read so much in my non-native language English, that sometimes, when I see German words that are written like English words (but with a totally different meaning), I can't understand what it's supposed to mean for a while. (If anyone's German here, take the word BRATHERING ...)

  • not German but I'm learning French and there are so many words too similar. i'll be in an english class and write imperatif on my paper when i mean imparative and they mean entirely different things. and then i'll write visage and be like...os that a french word...or english...or both? its so confusing

  • yeah sounds like a weird way to breath๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ i know what you mean, but it'll get better the more practice you get, and almost every European language comes from the.same basic language, like latin and/or the old nordic language, thats why some words sound similar and/or have a similar meaning
