Take it off your chest...

My mom died last week. I lost my best friend in the whole wide world, and people expect me to be able to carry on as if nothing happened. I get the "How are you holding up?" questions with the haughty look of pity and no one really wants to hear the answer. I have to keep it bottled up, and it's slowly eating me up inside.

  • Ive got experience with it , its true nobody cares, except for the people who knew her, you can always talk to them they'll probably understand you best, good luck

  • I dont really have any experience with the loss of a family member, but I know how it feels to lose your best friend. My advice is to first let all the anger out, its not good to keep it bottled up inside of you(trust me on that) and after that start focusing on the good parts. You will never have your mother back, so you need to accept it and instead focus on what you do have, and do everything in your power to keep it. You cant change the past, but you can change the future for the better. I wish you all the luck in the world and hope that you will feel better! :)
