PETA and all those animal rights groups are way too over the top. They believe the instant you do anything negative toward an animal it's wrong and abusive. I've grown up with animals all my life and yes I admit if they've gone to the washroom inside the house I've rubbed their face in it, hit their behind and put them outside. Yelling at them is also something I've done when the pet has done something bad. The big food companies who "mistreat" animals. WHO CARES?! It's food and it's delicious, don't like it then don't eat it. Simple as that. There has even been points where myself or people I know have killed the cats on the farm to prevent overpopulation and inbreeding. It's a normal thing. People are too sensitive toward what they believe is "abuse" when in reality it's just a quick way of training because the animal remembers the bad behaviour with the negative consequence.
