The only reason I'm afraid to die is because I'm afraid to be alone after death. I'm afraid of dieing alone in the first place too. Why won't anyone fall in love with me and actually stay in love with me? ): I wish I knew where I went wrong...
Being alone in death isn't a concern for life. Be happy as an individual, and someone will come forward to prevent you being alone in life. If you're happy, people around are likely to be happier, and they'll want to spend more time with you, potentially leading to sharing your lives until then, and then you'll never be alone again.
Explore religions, stay open minded and it will help qualm the fears of being alone after death. I'll not tell you what to believe, but am always willing to offer advice.
As for the love? Love isn't an end all be all, it's a work in progress. When you find somebody you love, and they love you, you will want to work to keep that love. There may be, in fact probably will be problems as people become complacent, but work through them.
