Why does every one say "Gravity is also just a theory" when someone says "Evolution is just a theory". Gravity is a law, not a theory!
Both Gravity and Evolution are based on observations therefore both could be described by laws or formulas, but no one knows exactly for example how gravity is made or why it exists. You might say that every mass makes its own gravity but that isn't really a sufficient answer. The plain theory of evolution seems to be too simple to answer all questions. It doesn't mean that it's wrong, but it doesn't cover every given possibility which are observed.
It is a theory but by the scientific definition not the 'just an idea' meaning. It being a theory doesn't mean it's not true, in the context of 'the theory of evolution' etc it pretty much means it's fact. The problem is idiots not understanding the meaning of the word.
