I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome just after my eighteenth birthday. I spent those eighteen years wishing to be different from everybody else. Now that I know I am 'different' from others, I would give everything to just be like everybody else.

  • Cheer up, I got diagnosed with pdd-nos, at the age of 23, and my life had it ups and downs, but you shouldn't see yourself any different from others, be yourself and make them understand how you are feeling, if they don't accept that, then they are not worth it.. And also what works for me.. To the people that I don't know that well, I put a social mask on, it can be exhausting, but it takes practice. Goodluck!

  • I know the feeling... i wish id have an illness maybe my parent would actually open up their eyes and start caring for me too... i have pcos now and they first cared when i moved out.
