My fiancé wants to get married in a church which is the one venue I have never considered nor wanted. Neither of us are religious but he wants "traditional". I don't judge peoples personal beliefs but to me the church doesn't represent love or signify anything special and I want our wedding day to be personal and reflect our lives together both past and future. It's causing endless arguments.

  • Weddings aren't about what the groom wants. Tell him to get with the program or get lost

  • You can have a traditional wedding without being in a Church. It could be in another building of your choice or even outside but outside weddings are tricky so be aware.
