I just found out that I'm adopted. And do you know how? My family wanted to watch Pulp Fiction together, and I agreed - although I don't really like Quentin Tarantino movies. I can laugh at them sometimes, but mostly I just think they're boring. After the film, I told my family I didn't like it - I had just watched it the first time and they were kind of excited about it. Then there was a little argument about how all Quentin Tarantino films are awesome and I'm just a weirdo, and suddenly I heard my father mumble: "Sometimes it's really obvious that you're adopted." Dead silence. I seriously didn't suspect anything - I actually look like my family, and my relatives always said I was the spitting image of my grandmother. My big sister is their biological child, and we often got mistaken for each other - and now, at 18 years old, I find out that I'm adopted because of a Quentin Tarantino film. On Christmas. I mean, I'm thankful that they took me in, because they are a great family, but I think they should've told me sooner.
