Take it off your chest...
Read Rules

Okay, so I'm a little kid in 3rd grade. My teacher is Mrs. Green, who happens to be a black woman. We also happen to be reading a book about acceptance of all races. Me, being the little smartass white kid I was, decide that I want to impress everyone else with my knowledge of the human body. The night before, my dad had explained to me that freckles were caused by melatonin, and dark skin has more melatonin in it. So after we read the book, Mrs. Green calls on me to answer a question. I mean to say, "Black people are just like a big freckle!" (which is poorly phrased already) In reality, I open my mouth and say, "Black people are just like a big pimple!" to the whole class. That teacher prevented me from getting into AGP for the whole year, and my (even whiter) parents had to meet with her to allow me in. She still thinks I'm a racist because I only told my parents about the incident years afterward.
