Anyone a fan of An Inspector Calls? Any theories?
I'm not a believer in God myself, however, I do think that the author write so that the 'inspector' was in fact God. And seeing as his name is 'Ghoul' (another work for ghost) it could relate to spirits and the Holy Spirit, hence him being God. And this would also explain why he made the family feel guilty for what they had done, to make them live the rest of their lives suffering from knowing that they had caused a woman's death. This is just my opinion but I think it is quite interesting.
