a winner is something you're born as. My dad always told me there are 2 types of winners out there. Those who win and those who go get a win. You can be on the right team at the right time or right place at the right time and win. Then there are those who put in every ounce of effort they have to win. You can't teach that. It's something you have to have inside of you. It's the intangibles that make winners. That extra effort is the difference between a win and a loss. If you being able to finish a 2 mile run in the rain without walking was the difference between your family keeping their home another month or losing it, could you do it? Running 2 miles is obviously a very attainable accomplishment but if you've never done it it's going to be hard. It's easy to think of the negative and say i know i cant do it so why try or even if i do it we could still lose it next month. A winner is willing to try no matter what. Even if you fail at least you failed giving it your all. You do it until you physically cannot do it anymore. Risk/reward isn't a factor to someone born a winner. Think about this next time you feel like giving up. Just know there is a way and you'll find that way. You might have to work harder than the next guy but in the end extra work always pays off. Like i said, even if you do fail at least you can be proud of yourself for giving it all you had. That in itself is an accomplishment and a win.
