When I was a kid, I used to play with dangerous animals (I lived a few years in Australia). My parents always told me I should not for my own security. I've been bitten, poisoned, stung many times. I'm supposed to be dead, instead of this I'm immuned against the venom of some jellyfishes, wasps, spiders, and I know how to master freaks with an aggressive potential. The benefits are not always where you think they are, and the winner is rarely the one you supposed to be.

  • Where about did you live? As a fellow aussie myself, I never encountered a dangerous animal.

I'm going to die one day, as we all will, only I know that it will be in water. My mother has had numerous dreams of me drowning when I was young. Oh, btw I'm a fisherman...

When I was around 15 my dad used to whip me with his belt. He was an alcoholic and would often do it to me for no reason. He'd make me remove my shirt and face the wall and then he'd whip me until I couldn't even stand up anymore. I believe he simply enjoyed seeing me suffer because when I cried and whimpered he'd say things like: ''finally, a reaction!'' or ''it hurts right? it hurts really bad?'' and whip me even harder than before. He did it so often and so brutally that to this day my back is covered with scars. I don't understand how someone could do that to their own son for no reason at all. I've been having so many nightmares about it lately. I don't know whats making me think about it. It was a long time ago, I'm 18 now so it was three years ago but it's making me really depressed.

  • i think you should and see a psychologist. i'm 15 currently and i honestly cannot even begin to imagine the amount of pain you felt. im so sorry. the world is cruel like that innit? take care of yourself. its over now, its long gone. the pain is over. now it's time for recovery eh? you've moved out i see. you're far away from him. it's all gone now yeah? you're safe now. you're okay now. you'll be okay. dont even forget that. the pain will eventually fade away. trust me. x

  • i had a really bad childhood but it started affecting me two years ago i don't why but you have to try to help yourself. i did that and I'm ok now. i didn't see a psychologist even though you should if you can but most importantly clear your mind first and lose the negative thoughts it really helped me.

Being a "good child" is dangerous cause following the rules won't get you any far in adult life.

  • that depends upon your upbringing. some parents encourage their kids to be more independent and are willing to help in the best way that they can... communication is the key
